I’ve been most excited by some of the new stuff I’ve been listening to, the last while. Really getting me in the mood for the summer.
Kelis – 4th Of July (Calvin Harris Remix)
This a pretty special remix, by a particularly unspecial kinda guy. I saw Calvin Harris on the Glasto coverage the other day, his presence puzzled me. My missus loves him. That’s odd!
El-P – Meanstreak In 3 parts
This made me go pull out El-P’s first record I’ll Sleep When Your Dead. Actually it might not be his first record, I could check, but anyway it’s the only one I have and I enjoy listening to it. With my ears.
Diamond Rings – All Yr Songs (Green Go Remix)
I’m getting a little bit fascinated by Diamond Rings. This is loverly.
Cooper Carter – Patrick Bateman’s Bedtime Classics
Doesn’t suck ;-)
Zola Jesus – 1 Night
A bit haunting, reminds me a little bit like Bjork, I’m prepared to investigate further. Great name too.
Headtapes – Sunshine (Icarus Mix)
Yeah I think this is alright, though that opinion may change.
